Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

When are utility bills due?

Utility bills are due on the last day of each month. To avoid late fees, please allow enough time for mailed payments or online banking payments to reach City Hall before the due date.

What payment methods are accepted?

Please see the Payment Options page for more information.

Where can I pay my utility bill?

To pay in person, visit Peck City Hall:

120 W Howard St

Peck, ID 83545

A drop box is available on the City Hall door for after hours payments.

Can I pay online or through my bank?

The City of Peck does not currently accept credit card payments. Most financial institutions offer Bill Pay services. Please note that those payments may take up to 7 business days to be issued and mailed. Fees may apply, depending on the bank in question. Please schedule payments early to avoid late fees. Contact your bank for more information.

What happens if my payment is late?

When payments are 30 days overdue, a late fee of 10% of the balance owed will be assessed and will reflect on the next invoice.

How do I start or stop utility service?

To begin or stop utility service, please contact City Hall. New accounts may require a completed application and deposit before service is activated. When stopping service, please give advance notice so that we can schedule a final meter reading and issue your final invoice. All final balances must be paid in full. The new service application is available on the New Resident Resources page.
